How do I connect my Facebook Ads account to Swydo?
From your client page in Swydo, open the Data Sources tab and click New Data Source, then choose Facebook Ads. For most platforms you’ll authorize via OAuth; a few (Klaviyo, CallRail, Call Tracking Metrics, ActiveCampaign) use an API key instead. Once authorized, pick the specific account, property, or page you want to report on. Each one becomes a data source you can drop into any report.
Can I combine Facebook Ads data with other platforms in one report?
Yes. Every Swydo report supports widgets and KPIs from multiple data sources side by side, so a single report can pull from Facebook Ads, Google Ads, GA4, Meta, and more. For paid-media platforms you can also blend up to five sources inside a single widget — useful for cross-channel ROAS, total spend, or unified conversion tables. Custom blended widgets aren’t available for non-ad platforms, but reports themselves can mix anything.
Is my Facebook Ads data secure in Swydo?
Yes. Swydo connects via OAuth or scoped API keys, encrypts data in transit over HTTPS, and stores access tokens with role-based controls. Swydo is GDPR-compliant and acts as a data sub-processor under a standard DPA. You can revoke any connection at any time, and on account closure all data and credentials are deleted within 90 days. What does Swydo cost, and is there a free trial?
Swydo offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Pricing is based on the number of data sources, not on users (seats are unlimited) or report volume. The flat plan includes 10 data sources, with a per-source rate beyond that which decreases as you scale. Frequency of reporting doesn’t affect cost. ow do I report on Advantage+ Shopping campaigns beyond aggregate-only views?
Swydo pulls every Advantage+ dimension Meta exposes through the Marketing API, including campaign-level spend, conversions, ROAS, and audience signals. For ASC specifically, you can break down performance by placement, creative variant, and conversion event. Meta does black-box some signals (Advantage+ audience composition is auto-generated and not fully exposed), so anything Meta hides in their UI is also hidden in Swydo. What you get is the full set of metrics they make available via API, alongside other channels.
How does iOS 14.5+ and Aggregated Event Measurement affect what I can show clients?
iOS 14.5+ and AEM mean Meta now reports modeled (not deterministic) conversions for many iOS users, and conversion windows are capped at 7 days click / 1 day view by default. Swydo pulls whatever Meta returns, so your numbers reflect Meta’s modeled view. Best practice: pair the Meta widget with a Shopify or GA4 widget showing actual orders, then add a text widget explaining the modeled-vs-actual gap. This frames the conversation honestly with clients.
Why does Meta show different conversions than Shopify or my CRM?
Meta uses click and view-through attribution within their conversion windows; Shopify counts orders regardless of source; your CRM may dedupe leads differently. Discrepancies of 10–30% are common and not a tracking failure. In Swydo, surface all three numbers side by side and use a text widget to explain methodology. Some agencies build a custom metric showing the spread (Meta conversions ÷ Shopify orders) to track attribution drift over time.
Does Swydo pull both Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI) data?
Yes. Whatever conversion events you’ve configured in Meta Events Manager — whether sourced from Pixel, CAPI, or both — flow into Swydo through the Marketing API. Meta deduplicates Pixel + CAPI events on their end before exposing them via API, so you see Meta’s deduplicated number, not raw event counts. If you want to verify CAPI is firing correctly, check Events Manager directly; Swydo reports the resulting attributed conversions.
Can I separate organic Instagram performance from Instagram Ads in one report?
Yes. Instagram Ads connect through the Facebook Ad Account; Instagram Insights connect through the linked Instagram Business Account. Add both data sources to your client, then build separate sections in the same report — one for paid (Instagram Ads metrics: spend, CPM, conversions) and one for organic (Insights metrics: reach, engagement, follower growth). Note that Meta’s API doesn’t let you split paid and organic within a single Insights metric — it’s separation by data source, not by filter.
What Facebook Page metrics are still supported after Meta's 2024 API deprecations?
Meta deprecated several Page metrics across 2024 (Page Views logged-in/out, Engaged Users, Negative Feedback, Storytellers, several demographic dimensions). Swydo’s Facebook Insights integration covers everything still exposed by the Graph API: reach, impressions, fans, follows, post performance, and engagement metrics. For deprecated metrics that clients still ask for, the Swydo workaround is custom metrics — for example, build “Total Engagements” as reactions + comments + shares, or “Engagement Rate” as engagements ÷ impressions.
